Meet the Edge

Welcome to Jerrid Edgington’s website both Author and Paramedic. Jerrid has been involved in EMS for just over 17 years, with 15 of those years as a Paramedic. He attended Mesa Community College and took the EMT-Basic course. Upon successful completion, he volunteered with the Maricopa County Sherrif’s Office River Rescue. After a short time work at the Salt River Project, the EMS bug bit him and he gained employment with Southwest Ambulance working in Mesa, Chandler, Tempe, Gilbert, and Apache Junction. After a short two years, he attended Emstar Paramedic Program and became a Paramedic. He continued his employment with Southwest Ambulance for two more years before relocating to Boise, Idaho. Jerrid worked for a ground ambulance and also as a flight paramedic. He spent two years there, then moved to Colfax, Washington, where he spent the next seven years working on a ground ambulance.

Jerrid then moved back home to Oklahoma where he currently works for Le Flore County EMS in Poteau, Oklahoma. He is married to Jody, an emergency room nurse at the local hospital.

Jerrid is the proud author of the Racing the Reaper Trilogy. He has released the first two books in the series on Amazon, and will be releasing the final book in the trilogy early next year. He was recently signed with Master Koda Publishing and they will be re-publishing his series.

In his spare time, Jerrid enjoys woodworking and spending time with his family.
