Today I had the privilege of marching with our honor guard for our local Veterans Day Parade. It was very humbling as I saw the many veterans lining the street and saluting as we past. I couldn’t help but to quietly thank each and every one of them for their service to our country. We often forget that many men and women have died protecting our country. We often become swamped in our busy lives and don’t think about those things. We are all guilty of this, me included. The next time you see a veteran, take a moment to say, “Thank you.” I’m sure they would appreciate it.
